Introducing Domain 2: Policy Administration
As we continue our "12 Domains in 12 Months" awareness campaign which promotes the new IU Information Security and Privacy Program on behalf of its governance group, the Information Security and Privacy Risk Council, we now encourage you to review Domain 2: Policy Administration!
The Council began meeting in July 2011 and has carefully reviewed the safeguards in each of the 12 domains (or common areas of information security and privacy activities) that comprise the Program. These domains summarize standards-based expectations and document and link to resources related to specific aspects of information security and privacy at IU.
Since the program is vast and can be difficult to digest at once, our "12 Domains in 12 Months" campaign encourages the review of one domain per month -- in hopes to make it easier to study each domain's resources and gauge your local efforts towards meeting their objectives.
We'd also really appreciate your feedback as to what Program resources or data are missing, incorrect, or unclear, and how we can better help you in your information security and privacy activities.
Please send feedback, questions, concerns, or compliments to security@iu.edu or privacy@iu.edu.
We'll draft a new blog post when it’s time to review the next domain!
