Human Resources: Domain 5 of the Information Security & Privacy Program

At first glance, it may seem strange to have a Human Resources domain in an Information Security and Privacy Program. Such a program is all about technology, isn't it?

Actually, no. People play such a fundamental role in information security and privacy that an organization's security and privacy safeguards are no better than the people who implement and use them.

As part of our "12 Domains in 12 Months" awareness campaign, which promotes the new IU Information Security and Privacy Program on behalf of its governance group, the Information Security and Privacy Risk Council, we now encourage you to review Domain 5: Human Resources!

Find out what sorts of Human Resources safeguards are important in protecting information security and privacy! For a nice summary, watch the video of Laura Kress, from IU's University Human Resource Services. She gives you the basics, quickly. Then scroll through the information provided on the domain page. I'll bet you discover at least one new resource you didn't know existed...

    Happy browsing!
