  • A student’s rear car window was shattered by a gunshot Monday afternoon. The student reported the incident to the Indiana University Police Department - Northwest at about 2:10 p.m. Monday. Police discovered a single bullet at the site of the incident in Lot 1 on the north side of the campus near 33rd Avenue. Based on the trajectory of the bullet, believe the projectile came from off campus.
  • Children appear to be the most vulnerable to emerging outbreak
  • On Wednesday, September 3 at approximately 8:14 AM, IUPD-NW Chief Patricia Nowak, Sgt. Brandon Campbell, Detective Michael Devries and Lt. Wayne James located Darayle Craig at 3600 West Ridge Road in Gary, Indiana. Craig was arrested on two counts of Sexual Battery and Indecent Exposure regarding an incident that occurred this past weekend on Saturday August 30, 2014 at approximately 2:50 pm.
