Kathryn Manteuffel’s duties include providing leadership and expert oversight for development of policy, strategy, and comprehensive supporting programs across the scope of Environmental Health and Safety for the regional campuses of Indiana University (IU East, IU Kokomo, IU Northwest, IU South Bend, and IU Southeast), toward the overarching goal of protection of campus communities and the natural environment, while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations. She has special and substantial devoted responsibilities toward the IU Northwest campus beyond the traditional environmental health and safety scope and supports the fire prevention and safety program as well as emergency planning, response and recovery. She has been employed by Indiana University since 1995.
