Maintenance and industrial equipment have many uses on Indiana University campuses. Each type of equipment must be operated according to industry guidelines and regulatory standards. Because operation of equipment represents a potential safety hazard to university employees, Indiana University Environmental Health and Safety has developed programs to manage industrial equipment use with proper maintenance and operating procedures.
