Learn the proper use of a fire extinguisher with this hands-on training that uses a simulator or a burn pot and handheld extinguishers.

IU faculty, staff and students can receive training in Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED level for adult, child, and infant. There will be a $20.25 charge for first aid classes (this fee subject to change per American Heart Association fee schedules). Hot work operations—such as welding, grinding, or soldering—create flames, sparks, and heat that can easily start a fire. Get trained to do this work safely.
