IUPD has launched its spring hiring process, which gives successful applicants the chance to be considered over the course of the next six months for entry-level patrol officer positions on Indiana University campuses across the state.
Applications are available online and must be submitted online by April 30.
IUPD, with more than 200 fully certified full-time and part-time officers, is one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the state. With a goal of becoming the best campus police agency in the BigTen, the department emphasizes community engagement and training, with the majority of officers exceeding state-mandated annual training requirements.

He said women and minority applicants are encouraged to apply to help the department better reflect the campus communities it serves. After applying, applicants will be invited to take an agility test. Those who pass may be invited for further interviews.
