Shannon Bunger, Captain of Operations for the Indiana University Police Department-Bloomington, graduated this spring from the FBI National Academy.
The FBI National Academy is a 10-week program for active U.S. and International law enforcement personnel who seek to enhance their credentials in their field and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge and cooperation worldwide.
The classes, particularly the electives Bunger chose involving media management, were interesting and useful. But, the networking opportunities he gained were "huge."

Bunger is a master instructor and recently helped provide Fair and Impartial Policing training to all IUPD officers across the state.
Graduating on March 15 in the 275th class of the FBI National Academy, he joins six other IUPD leaders who attended the academy.
