Biography
Prior to being named Chief of Police for the IU Police Department at IU Northwest, Davis was responsible for patrol, investigations, training, SWAT, special events, compliance with the federal Clery Act, ARMS Management, Field Training Program, Cadet Officer Program, crisis management and behavioral consultation teams.
He has worked in law enforcement for almost 12 years, with the last four at IUPD. He has served in many roles, including: patrol, crash scene investigator, field training officer, SWAT (team leader), hostage negotiator, Crisis Intervention Team, and instructor.
