The use of radioactive materials in research and teaching at IU Bloomington is conducted under the authority of the university’s license with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This license prescribes the administrative structures, facilities, equipment, and procedures needed for a comprehensive Radiation Safety Program.
