IU Facilities Physical Security, Safety, and Privacy Base Bid Standards are the basic level of protection for university facilities and apply to all new construction or major renovation projects. These standards provide a foundation upon which other safeguards can be added and include items such as site security, building security, interior security and privacy, safety and security systems, protective lighting, as well as other facility requirements. Physical security and access personnel use these standards when completing and finalizing the Limited Physical Security and Access Assessments.
