Purpose
To require that all elements of the Indiana University Police Department’s selection process are job related and nondiscriminatory.
General Order
All elements of the selection process will utilize only those rating criteria and/or minimum qualifications that are job related and nondiscriminatory. The selection process will measure the skills, knowledge, abilities, and traits required to perform the job. In compliance with Indiana University policy, HR-02-110, selections should be made by examining all factors necessary to determine the best qualifications and capabilities to fill the position.
