Biography
As Deputy Director of Public Safety Communications for IU Public Safety, Mary leads the organization's communications strategy and oversees its internal and external communications.
Keck has worked at Indiana University since April 2016. She is a senior member of the University Communications and Marketing team and has contributed to the team in a range of areas including presidential, internal and external communications; public affairs; media relations, and project management.
Prior to joining IU, Keck worked as a professional journalist, columnist and feature writer who covered K-12 education, city government, environment, politics, and other topics. Her writing has been published in the Bloomington Herald-Times, Clarkston News, Mount Vernon Democrat and the Huffington Post.
