Biography
Major Stephen N. Luce oversees the IU Police Academy and the IUPD Cadet Officer Program and is also responsible for ensuring that all full-time and part-time officers across IU campuses receive high-quality, state-mandated annual training. He also manages all training initiatives for the IUPD.
Since graduating from the IU Police Academy in 2006 and joining IUPD, Luce has steadily advanced through the ranks, serving in a variety of roles, including patrol officer, detective, shift supervisor, field training officer, athletics liaison, sergeant, and training coordinator. He also serves as a member of the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board.
