Biography
Eric Mayo is the Director for Information Technology & Systems for IU Public Safety. His duties involve working toward common operating efficiencies and standardization projects, procurement, and implementation of law enforcement equipment, computer hardware, and software that is used by the seven divisions of the IU Police Department. Mayo supervises dispatch personnel, IUPD statewide voice and data communications systems that serve the IU campuses, providing police dispatching and emergency services response.
Mayo began his IUPD career in 1999, joining the IU Police Cadet Officer Program. He graduated from the IU Police Academy in 2000 and is now a member of the training cadre at the IU Police Academy as a certified STOPS Instructor.
